1991 – Begins martial arts training with a kickboxing-style discipline.

1993 – Vice-Champion of Belgium in Khmer Boxing.

1995 – Stops combat sports and starts martial arts training in Kobudo.

1997 – Attends the international seminar in Thonon-Les-Bains led by Sensei Kenyu Chinen and begins Okinawan Goju-ryu Karate under Sensei Patrick Curinckx.

1999 – Achieves the rank of 1st Kyu in Kobudo.

February 2006 – Earns the rank of 1st Dan and creates the non-profit organization “Goju-ryu Karate-do.”

December 2007 – Earns the rank of 2nd Dan.

2009 – Completes Adeps Level 1 instructor training.

Since 2009 – Travels to Okinawa every year to continue training at Sensei Higaonna’s dojo.

2011 – Earns the rank of 3rd Dan.

January 2015 – Participates in an intensive training camp in Okinawa.

2015 – Earns the rank of 4th Dan.

2020 – Participates in a multistyle intensive training camp in Okinawa.

May 2020 – Earns the rank of 5th Dan (Godan).

October 2025 – Earns the rank of 6th Dan in front of Higaonna Sensei during the World Budosai.
